Purchase Agreement

This Purchase Agreement ("Agreement") governs your purchase of tickets through the Entretix platform operated by Entracte Theatrix ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing tickets through our Service, you agree to the terms set forth in this Agreement.

1. Services Description

Entretix provides an online ticketing platform that enables event organizers to sell tickets and enables customers to purchase tickets for events. We act as a ticket sales agent on behalf of event organizers. The actual contract for ticket purchase is between you (the purchaser) and the event organizer.

We are responsible for:

  • Processing ticket orders and payments
  • Delivering tickets electronically
  • Providing customer support for the purchase process

Event organizers are responsible for:

  • The event itself, including venue, performers, and scheduling
  • Setting ticket prices and refund policies
  • Honoring all tickets sold through our platform
  • Communicating event changes to ticket holders

2. Pricing and Fees

Ticket prices are set by event organizers and displayed at the time of purchase. The total amount you pay includes:

  • Ticket Price: The base price set by the event organizer
  • Service Fees: Platform fees for using our ticketing service
  • Payment Processing: Fees for secure payment processing
  • Taxes: Applicable sales taxes as required by law

All fees are clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. Prices are shown in the local currency and are subject to change until the purchase is completed.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We accept:

  • Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards with credit card logos
  • Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) where available

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize us to charge the total amount to your payment method.

4. Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • An on-screen confirmation with your order details
  • An email confirmation sent to the email address you provided
  • Your tickets attached to the confirmation email or accessible via a link

If you do not receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected].

5. Ticket Delivery

Tickets are delivered electronically. Each ticket includes:

  • A unique QR code for scanning at the venue
  • A unique barcode number
  • Event details (name, date, time, venue)
  • Seat information (for reserved seating events)

You may present your tickets on a mobile device or print them. Each ticket can only be used once for entry. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced if they have already been scanned.

6. Refunds and Exchanges

Refund policies are set by each event organizer. The refund policy for your purchase is displayed during checkout and in your order confirmation.

General guidelines:

  • Most ticket sales are final unless the event organizer offers refunds
  • Service fees may be non-refundable even if the ticket price is refunded
  • Refund requests must be made before the event date
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

7. Event Admittance

To gain entry to an event, you must:

  • Present a valid ticket (digital or printed) with a scannable QR code or barcode
  • Present valid photo identification if required by the event organizer
  • Arrive before the event cutoff time (if specified)
  • Comply with all venue rules and regulations

Each ticket is valid for one entry only. Re-entry policies are determined by the venue and event organizer.

8. Cancelled or Rescheduled Events

If an event is cancelled:

  • The event organizer is responsible for determining refund eligibility
  • We will assist in processing refunds as directed by the event organizer
  • You will be notified via email at the address associated with your order

If an event is rescheduled:

  • Your tickets are typically valid for the new date
  • Refund options may be offered if you cannot attend the new date
  • The event organizer will communicate details about the rescheduled event

9. Ticket Limits and Restrictions

Event organizers may impose limits on:

  • The number of tickets that can be purchased per order
  • The number of tickets that can be purchased per person
  • Age restrictions for certain events

We reserve the right to cancel orders that violate purchase limits. Tickets purchased for resale above face value may be cancelled at the discretion of the event organizer.

10. Ticket Transfer

You may transfer your tickets to another person by forwarding the ticket email or sharing access to your ticket. The recipient becomes responsible for adhering to all terms of this Agreement.

We are not responsible for:

  • Tickets transferred to incorrect recipients
  • Tickets resold by third parties
  • Counterfeit tickets from unauthorized sources

11. Limitation of Liability

OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR TICKET PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE TICKETS IN QUESTION, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

We are not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of events
  • The accuracy of event descriptions provided by organizers
  • Acts or omissions of event organizers, performers, or venues
  • Personal injury or property damage at events
  • Events cancelled or rescheduled by organizers

12. Dispute Resolution

For disputes related to:

  • The event itself (performance quality, venue issues): Contact the event organizer directly

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes but cannot guarantee outcomes for matters outside our control.

14. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Purchase Agreement from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that transaction. We encourage you to review this Agreement before each purchase.
